This insert provides extraordinary wear resistance in continuous finishing machining. It is ideally suited for finishing applications where high accuracy and high surface quality is required.

The materials utilized to manufacture Metcera’s Cermet Turning Insert, Grade MC1020, are sourced from the most reliable and official vendors, chosen after performing detailed market surveys. It is recommended for the finishing of alloyed steel and alloyed aluminum with HRC under 45HRC. It is suitable for light interrupted machining applications too. As this is a grade for finishing applications, Ap over 1mm and Feed over 0.15 is not suggested.
